Collection: Cold Process Soaps

1. CREATION METHOD: This traditional method involves combining oils and butters with a lye solution. The mixture undergoes saponification, a chemical reaction that creates soap.

2. CUSTOMIZATION: Cold process allows for extensive customization with additives like clays, botanicals, and natural colorants. You can also control the superfat level, which affects how moisturizing the soap is.

3. CURING TIME: After pouring, cold process soap needs time to cure—typically 4–6 weeks. This curing allows excess water to evaporate, resulting in a harder, longer-lasting bar.

4. TEXTURE AND FEEL: The texture is often creamy and smooth, with a rich lather. The curing process helps in developing gentle cleansing properties.
